Nice capture Simon....!;)

Had a little "play" with your image and found I could sharpen the details noticeably without inducing any real problems.....you might like to repro it again yourself if you have the time.:)

Had a little play myself and pulled slightly more detail out, ive still got to learn about the prossesing side of things but learning all the time. SIMON.

What f/ ratio did you take that at Simon? I have a C9.25 and want to know how far I can push it without losing image quality.

The image was taken at f45 with a 2.5 x and a 2x powermate stacked. SIMON.

I just noticed the title of this thread after asking that question about f numbers. D'oh!

I didn't realise that you could stack barlow optics together.

I had 2No x2 barlow, but gave one to a friend last week. I didn't think that I needed two of them. Live and learn!!
