The Eagle Nebula

This is a really difficult object for me to capture as it is low in the sky to the South and just skirts my neighbour's trees and the South Downs! However, there was a surprisingly pleasant sky tonight so I felt compelled to have a go. I can never decide with this object if it is called 'The Eagle Nebula' because it looks like a Eagle in flight or whether it is just the head and open beak of an eagle at a totally different scale. Do any of you know?

I think its the "Eagle in flight" .

You don't see it in your image because it is so magnified.

Its more recognisable given a wider field of view.

In saying all that your image is a belter mate... 8)
