Philips WebCams - Who is paying those wacky prices?

Hey guys 'n' gals,

has anyone else noticed the crazy prices that the Philips SPC900 webcams are selling for on fleaBay? One went for just short of £100 (used); more with postage added!

Is this just a case of supply and demand gone mad, or is there something particularly wonderful about these cams?

I am about to start trying to modify a xBox LiveCam, which cost £3.95 and free postage, and am just bewildered by such a disparity in prices?

What do you folks reckon?

Also depends what time of say they finish, afternoon ones seem to go fot a fair bit less.
