Don't worry, the long hours of daylight will soon be a distant memory, in another 5 months it will be dark at 3.30pm for you Just think off all the hours of darkness and the long hours waiting for the sky to clear and the wind to drop

Very true Naz,although you may be surprised to learn that the last year or so has been the least

windy i can ever remember(honest )and on the minus side its also been the cloudiest

It is cool in the winter to be able to go out observing before tea-time,makes up for no observing for about 10 weeks midsummer i suppose,anyway roll on winter i'm sure you'll all agree.
