I quite fancy one of these as a portable goto but my experience with my late-departed etx125 confers caution. Unless Meade up their game on quality and reliability, I'd give it a body-swerve. At least I wouldn't buy one until it has been on the market for a year and they've ironed out the bugs. The fact that the release keeps being delayed doesn't augur well.

Latest update from Telescope House is that they won't be in for another few months at least as they want to get it right before they release it onto the market here.

Yes it can! I have ordered one and hopefully by the end of this month or mid May should be delivered.Here you can download the manual and get the specs.

I have read the pdf and it is an accessory addon that is required. The addon is the APM and provides an rs232 connection for guiding. Meade also produce #777 which is an OAG.
