NEQ6 Carry Case - Opinions Please

I've been looking to see if I can get a carry case for my NEQ6 and stumbled across this item on eBay.

What do you think? Does anyone have one of these? If so, is it up to the job?

Give swanflight a call. They make custom flight cased for all sorts of things. We had two made to take a 22" touch screen all in one PC in each - £65 + vat per case, Each case was around 50cm x 18cm x 65cm

Those ebay cases are far too small for a NEQ6 and at £50 too expensive. You can get a similar sized Duratool case from CPC Farnell for about £26.

Better still for the NEQ6 is a much larger case where it is protected by foam padding all around. Something about the size of my Peli 1600 would be perfect. The Peli is expensive but it is indestructable and easily copes with the weight.

The NEQ6 is big and heavy and needs a good sturdy case with a strong handle.

I got this case from CPC Farnell. It's a 8U Console ( Audio mixer desk ) heavy duty flight case, and for now I'm just using the original polystyrene packing that the mount came with. Quite heavy with the weights in, but bullet proof!

Thanks all. I won't bother with the eBay case - I didn't think it was good enough really. I'll take a good look at your suggestions.

The case on ebay is actually very good, but its just not really big enough for an EQ6. It works very well for an HEQ5 though. I bought the same case much more cheaply from CPC farnell.

I've managed to get a Peli 1600 on eBay for less than half price. Its just the job for the NEQ6. Thanks LongJohn54 for suggesting it.
