Leaving work this evening the Moon, Jupiter & Venus stood out beautifully in the dark blue cloudless sky with a deep red glow in the west ... really picturesqe! Got home 1/2 hour later, got the scope out, aligned and checked seeing with my 6.3mm plossl on the moon - perfect! Great seeing again ..

Had food, got me clobber on, went out to the garden and the clouds had arrived with small gaps, got a few glimpses of Jupiter but that was me done ... and it is still here. Ah well - the new ep that arrived today will have to wait till next time.

Still cloudy in the North west, hopefully tomorrow will be better. Its forecast snow tomorrow, if it snows during the day and clears up at night it should be good hopefully.

UK astronomy is %90 weather watching. :)
