star gazing anywhere in eastern Australia has been postponed for the moment due to some capricious child called Nina, this child

seems to like Eastern Australia every seven - ten years occasionally when it goes away its cousin shows up (another nina)

and we get to see the great southern sky, even light pollution doesnt get in the way of seeing the milkyway with the naked eye

for any members planning a visit to Australia include a plan for the 19th - 22nd April and attend the South Pacific Star Party held annually at the dark site owned by the Astronomical society of New South Wales about 21/2 hours drive from Sydney. called Wiruna ....the weather by then will return to normal see you there:hello2:
