Finally finished my roll-off obsy (store shed!), Polar aligned and 3 star set up and a good night checking kit, well chuffed!

That does the job nicely and it has a somewhere to put the lappy and coffee. hope it get loads of use.

Looks great, I'm hoping to build exactly the same thing (with virtually the same scope setup as well) later this year/next, have you got any details/pics about how you did it? I haven't got much spare room in my garden so want to make a pier and have a roll off storage shed (with a shelf for my laptop and bits).

Does your scope fit in the shed as well,once you have removed the shelf.

Or do you take it off the mount everytime??

No, its a fold up shelf, I just reposition the scope and slide the shed over, secure the floor and lock it up!

Thanks very much, I think for this year it'll be just getting the pier sorted. I'm often out your way actually as I do some work at RAF Cranwell as well as a few jobs in Sleaford.

That would be great, I tend to pop to a woodland near Bardney. Lovely dark skies, just a but spooky! I just take some binoculars with me, never took the full setup out yet.
