First moon attempts

Had a go at Moon, each image was stacked from around 500 frames. I was trying multipoint alignment in Registax but it does not seem to work for me. Probably because I am adjusting RA manually which causes a lot of movements to all sides and final image was mess

eh up M, you can't seriously be too miffed with those shots.As a first attempt you ought to be chuffed.Cor blimey my first shots were so naff I wouldn't even show the missus!

They are really excellent pictures for your first attempt. I wish my first attempts were that crisp and sharp, if I remember right they went straight into the bin

Yep , using the moon for "first goes" is a good idea and you succeeded in getting some great images. I used the moon for most of my testing with new equipment - I usually managed to find it
