Jupiter, (first) Saturn, and a small blob. (05/01/12)

Thankfully the wind died down last night here, so I took advantage and stayed up all night obsessively capturing.

Saturn seems hard to get right now, couldn't get much detail.

As for Mars, well... :(

I like your Jupiter image, I was up early to catch Saturn with similar results as you Eid, did you image Mars earlier than Saturn ?

Yes, I did Jupiter > Moon > Mars > Saturn and lots of fiddling with PHD inbetween. Busy night! I was going to go back to Mars at the end as it was higher by then, but I was soo tired.

Not too bad eid. What gear did you use?

I used an 1100d fixed to a Hyperion zoom, attached to a C9.25, mounted on a very wobbly CG-5.

Thanks for all your comments. :(

We're spoilt for choice right now aren't we. I'm really looking forward to Saturn getting closer.

I'm based just to the west of London, but hopefully not for much longer. I took a 10 second sub last night without a LPR filter. So tired of this hideous orange sky:
