M57 a start

A late start for me last night and clouds came in later so only managed 1hr 31 min's,

Ha 7 @ 10 mins and L 7 @ 3 min's .

There is a hint of the outer shell but this needs more time and then some colour.

I am still having problems with I see stars so I have put it on my website

That's looking great Mike. The outer stuff is starting to turn up which is a big challenge. Are you going to add in any OIII?

I would if I had a OIII filter I only just got the Ha.

That is already a great image. When you add some colour it will be amazing.

You're going to love that Ha Mike, think it might work as a better luminence that your luminence if you know what I mean.

The problem with using the Ha as the L is the central stars in m57 and the small galaxy don't show up in Ha.

Mike - nice one, not really seen that outer nebulosity before.....tell me you're gonna get some more and add them - think you may have something rarely seen, image wise, before.
