blinky1983
I have a SW Skyliner 250px Flex-tube....At the bottom of the OTA where the primary mirror cell is, There are 4 pre drilled holes (where the collimation screws are) in the middle and a circle where a fan could be installed, Is this what its intended for?? If someone here has the same scope and has installed a fan.. can you tell me which kind you used and how you provide portable power to it.. I also need a link to good flocking that does not flake onto the mirrors..Thanks for your timeblinky

ecosse
I may be wrong but the holes on the rear of the scope I think were meant for rear covers. You could make a bracket that uses these holes to mount a fan though.
johninderby
You can mount an 80mm PC case fan using these holes (4mm bolt size) but remember to put some spacers on the bolts between the fan and the cell otherwise there will be nowhere for the air to go after passing through the fan. Just use any 12v battery to power it. On this 250PX I just mounted a socket in the side of the end ring to plug a power cable into.John
