I think it would be advisable for us all to meet up there as a group the first time. Then once security know our faces it won't be necessary for me to be there and you guys can come and go as you please.

It's only a suggestion and if you still want to go for a reccy tonight then go for it. Just thought it would be good to all meet up

I really don't think that my scope is collimated correctly and would be good to have others opinions and to see what something looks like through a scope that is aligned correctly.

Im with you on the collimation issue Gibbo, would definately like someone more experienced than me to take me through the whole process

The Country File weather forecast is suggesting Monday(23rd) and Friday (27th) should be clear.

I've just tried to collimate my scope so I'm out tonight as it's clear. For few hours anyway. Hopefully we can do something soon.

Same here! I looked outside about 15 mins ago and it was beautifully clear. Now I can just about make the moon out! :-(

I am very conscious that visits to this site are dependant on me being available. Shall we put a date in our diaries that we can all make and hope that the night is clear? I really don't want to stop people from going up there because I can't make it.
