Jupiter - 27th November 2011

Went out in between the clouds to look at Jupiter.

Seeing was very steady for the UK and jupiter was showing a lot of detail.

The dominating feature was the massive area of turbulance following the GRS - I wouldn't like to be stood in the middle of that storm !!

Skywatcher 8" F/6 Dobsonian with Pentax 7mm XW giving x171.

Thats a great sketch David. I keep meaning to give Jupiter a go but I'm terrible at going from the EP to trying to draw in the dark.
