Hi Ken,

Welcome to SGL. Great step in developing your astro skills and meeting like minded people.

You live in a good area for Star Parties like:

Kielder Forest Park.

You have just missed the Cumbria SP 4 which is a small very friendly event.

In September we had the Galloway SP down near Newton Stewart.

You could if you have the time read the threads on star parties.

Once again, welcome on board.
