[Spellmaster]

After constructing a very blue peter-esc sun filter from a baader sheet and a cross stitch hoop, i thought i better try it out.

Taken through a 60D on a celestron nexstar 6SE. I had to take two shots as the sun didn't quite fit in the view, then stitch togeather with photoshop

Overall quite pleased with this first attempt, nice to be out side during the day too!

That's exellent, Spellmaster. Well focussed too - which many people find tricky.

The 60d's big articulated LCD really helped with the focusing, starting to have second thoughts about converting my 20d with its puny 1" screen.... Hummmmmm I can feel a sharp stabbing pain in my wallet!
