Dew stops play with 200K

That's a first for me.

I've been dewed out with fracs and newts but never the 200K.

I was getting concerned at how dim Jupiter was looking.

Eventually shone a torch down the tube to see the lens in front of the secondary completely misted over.

The elements are still finding new ways to taunt me. Shame as the seeing wasn't that bad.

Same with us, the 16" SCT needed the hair drier every 10mins or so.

My 200K kept working last night.

My weather kit reported 95% humidity.

Watched the GRS wandering across Jupiter.

My Babyliss dew remover worked a treat!

Seriously, the biggest dewing issue was the objective on the TAL finder.

When packing away the outside of the OTA was very wet, also the handset.

Been "dewed out" 3 clear nights on the run this week, even with dew sheild in place. So frustrated I have started a thread to get views on dew control heaters

jon that is a decent looking dew shield, have a look in gallery at the mahossive one on my 180 pro, home made using some kind of black vynyl sheet with a felt flocking inside, dave gibbons made it
