Painting OTA rings White

Hi Guys

I want to paint my black OTA rings White.

Has anyone any suggestions as to which is the best paint to use ?

A good rub with a scotch pad and a can of spray paint from a motor factor will do the job

I done some last week with plasti-kote radiator spray paint dry in 15 mins

the number on the can is 618 gloss white .

It the same white as the HEQ5 mount.

Yes a rub with scotchbright or similar, but I would use spray Hammerite, either the smooth or the hammered, its up to you.

I'd go with the Plasti-coat radiator paint. I used this on my Skywatcher counter weights, it's a good colour match for the original finish (satin) but does not have the sllight textured effect.

Thats why I suggested Hammerite, its what I use for Pier Tops.

That's what I used. Carplan white with grey primer.
