My Telrad checking out?

Hello All,

I've noticed recently that I need to turn the switch on my Telrad almost completely around to obtain an image where previously I only had to turn it on about 50% . Yes, I have changed the batteries , no better.

PS it did fall some time ago:crybaby2: but continued to work, much to my surprise

PPS I have also been known to leave it on all night by mistake!

Does anyone have a similar experience or suggestions?Thanks

have you checked and cleaned the part where the light shines up through the telrad before the diagonal mirror

Mine is as well. I put it down to the drop in temperature (a guess rather than anything else).

Most likely the batteries responding to the cooler weather.

Yep, tried that already..

I wasn't referring to the existing batteries - but all batteries in general. When the weather warms up, you'll find you'll not need to swing the arm around so far.

This is a normal characteristic of batteries - new and old
