Jupiter (F10 and F20)

This image was taken on 19/20 October 2011 using an Explorer 200p mounted on HEQ5.

The night was very clear and so together with LQuinlan (fellow member) we set about trying to capture Jupiter.

We initially tried at F10 and managed to grab the 1st image, which we think is pretty decent.

We then thought we would see if we could up the ante and tried at F20 by stacking 2 barlows, one of which was pretty naff. The result was the 2nd image.

Great results. You must be chuffed with the results from both focal lengths. Jupiter is just over a week away from opposition, so plenty of opportunity ahead for more great pics .
