Orion Rising over Kelling star party

Hope the mods dont mind me posting in this section, I already posted in the widefield section but on second thought I think it qualifies as a deep sky image more.

I took this photo at 4:30am Sunday morning from Kelling Heath Star party, pitch 361 the poptop caravan, lol

Orion including Barnards loop.

moded Canon 400D + CLS clip filter & Pentax 50mm f1.7 lens, single 5 min exp @ ISO800.

I have been trying to get this shot for years, ever since I saw a similar one in Sky and telescope.

Nice one- getting the lower part of the loop can be difficult in the UK as it's low down & faint.

Orion is the stellar wonder that got me into astronomy 40 years ago, as a child, and it's great that an image like this can remind my on my earliest memories of stargazing. Thanks so much
