Hi. Helen, I have just had a look at Mike's Antactica pics. and they are gorgeous. Really spectacular with a bit of History portayed as well. He must have enjoyed that trip enormously He certainly knows what he is doing with a camera, so he is just the man for the job at the Star Party.

Thanks for the nice comments on Mike's photos. It was a dream of his too, Tony, to follow in the steps of Shackleton in particular. He had a fantastic time, everything he'd hoped it would be and more. (I decided not go - never been my dream, and I get cold much too easily!)

He promises NOT to use his flash at the party!!
