Was so keen to get out there and set up - guess what, connected both the slow mo controls to the RA drive, one each side

Any how got sorted and started with Eta Cas then thought I would work through the clusters in Cas, got as far as M52 by dodging the clouds and then got clouded out. I was a bit restricted as to where I placed the scope to-night as I have spent the last two/three days top dressing the lawn and didn't want to set up there.

Still at least I got out.

Im staying in tonight too, had a tinker with the newt earlier in preparation - but ive just taken another look and there is a lot of high cloud. Not really worth it for imaging.

Has clouded over further up the coast. I was out 4:30 this morning, Jupiter was very bright but couldn't see as much detail as a couple of days ago in the morning.

M42 was quite spectacular in the 12" Dob, bring on those dark, crisp winter nights

sorry i think i caused the clouds...11 and a half hours at work i take a walk outside to go home think hmmm looks pretty decent, by the time i had got on the bus it was cloudy...sorry guys, ill take the hit on this one
