Space Bat
How many sandbags do I need to hold down my scope...Isn't it Ironic first clear skies that I have the time to enjoy with the scope - am faced with bright moonlight...OK so lets look at Jupiter and some brighter DSO's...and yep 40mph+ winds
JamesM
I would suggest putting the sand bags on your own feet to be honest when you read that some parts of the country have had 80 mph winds! Your 9.25 is relatively small and chunky compared to my refractors, which act like wind turbines at mere suggestion of wind.Clear skiesJames
pastiche
Windy here too! I have spent the evening chasing pots around the patio!! I don't dare put the telescope out there.
Gradie
I've not even looked out the window to see if its clear. In the lake district this week, been cloudy every night so far, and its howling outside tonight! Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

g0ibi
I've just been viewing Jupiter (+4 moons) out of my conservatory with the doors open facing East. Trouble is I can't anything else for moonlight!!
