Last night 10-11 09 2011

[Essex Stargazer]

Well last night I had clearish sky's

Low white clouds 50/50 with clear sky

Trouble was the wind , must have been blowing hard as the clouds were doing about 50 mph across the sky and the moon was on main beam , very bright

So with the wind , light pollution , bright Moon and what looked like some scope vibration due to the wind the odds were stacked against me

Stayed up and awake until now but my bed is calling

Reasonably clear last night at 01.00 but half a gale and moon ablaze..

Saw a moon emerging from behind Jupiter last night. Also I had some great views of our Moon through my binoculars.

no clear sky since i came back from wales 2weeks and counting.

Not had decent skies for about 2 weeks now, dying to try out my new scope properly. Managed to get 20mins last night before the blanket cloud rolled in.

Learning not to trust any weather apps/7timer etc, because they're never right lol

squeezed 30 mins in last night with new ep's, moon great, cloud that finished session was'nt !
