Looking really good. I love the table and chairs outside :).

Thanks- the seating is nice at breakfast time when it catches the sun in the morning.

I have found that EQ6 mount is really stable now it is mounted on the steel pier (much better than the supplied tripod). Also the polar alignment seems to hold really well night after night. I haven't done any drift alignment yet but early results look promising for imaging using just a DSLR and a selection of lenses.

Obsy roof open with camera on the EQ6 mount.

Hoping to move the telescope in shortly and start imaging using that. Then possibly look at getting a guidscope and autoguider.....

Due to the appalling bad weather over Christmas (a continuous gale and heavy rain for two weeks here!!) I got some time to do some finishing work in the observatory. So now we have electricity (no need for the extension lead!) and the internal paneling is nearly finished. Looks a bit like a sauna now- but better than the inside of the metal sheet cladding.

The electric is a real plus though- should be able to set up a PC and guide camera now (weather permitting).
