IC 1396 elephant Trunk

I had two nights at this object with good guiding (my standard). Good seeing, quite low light pollution, the only drawback was the high ambient temperature above 20 degrees Celsius.

Setup:

Custom Newton 8'', Eq6 Pro, Canon 500Da, Iso 800, Baader UHC filter, Guiding. Exposures 120x5' with a total 10 hours.

After I posted the image I realised i was wrong with the white balance... too much red.

So there it is another processing with better white balance.
