I'm with Steve, the first one was a nice shot but right at the limits IMHO (sorry Frank :)). The wavelets are very tempting but theres only so far you can push an image before it looks too false.

I know what you mean about the 'Googly eyes', it takes me 2 hours to un-process my images just to get them back to normal after I've messed with then.

After i have played with wavelets in Registax i have started to apply a bit of Gassiun Blur in Photoshop just to knock the sharpness off the edges and make it look a bit more natural.

I think I may well have fallen into the 'Over Processed' trap,the secret it seems to me is realizing that at some point ,that is the best it's going to be,. and any futher work will spoil it,recogising THAT point, is the hard part

Hello Frank,

You got a great image of Saturn, all the info is in the capture and processing it expertly takes an awful lot of skill, and comes with practice. We have some maestros of the art on site, and I know I will need their help eventually.
