Hi all, i have a chance to buy a

Skywatcher Explorer 130P SynScan AZ GOTO

for £230. just wondering if anyone here has this scope and is it any good. and do you think that £230 is a good price for a second hand one?

I have an explorer 130P. I have forund it to be a good scope, once I had set it up correctly. I have just recently updated the handcontroller firmware to version 3.08 with no problems encountered.

I recently bought one as my first scope. I have only used it a few times because of the light nights and cloudy skies but have been delighted with it so far. Easy to set up and seems very well built. New price £285 with full guarantee so I not sure price is that good.

I have a 130p on a synscan az goto an it is a good setup. I love the scope and the mount works very well. I also use the mount for my WOZ66.

defo a good scope ,u wont find one bad review about it! but as others have said the price u where offered it at is a bit steep ,if u can it down to about 170 take it
