Dmac, I would highly recomend you attend a star party when you can. I attended my first a few months ago and it was fantastic! I left before dark and told the wife I would be back by midnight,a slight miscalculation there, as I got home just at day break. It was a beautiful night and met about 15 great people very willing to share their knowlege and veiws through their scopes. Simply put it was probably the best time I have had in many years with people whom I had no prior aquaintence.
