lens case??

Hey all,

I need to get something to store my lenses in, i was thinking about one of those aluminium flight case sort of thing but i'm not sure how small they make them..

Anyone got any ideas about things to use?

Hi Mark,

Just bought one today from Pulsar Optical for £25.00 who are local to me. I believe that most suppliers offer something similar on line.

Yes - flight case from Maplins.

I think there is new stock going out - Coventry have 10 fresh ones in stock - still £19.99

if you're eyepeices look a bit lost / or you think the case is too big - don't worry - you'll soom fill it !!

I use a Maplins case for my EP's. For just taking a couple of small EP's along to public outreach events, I bought a padded pencil case from Tesco.

I've seen a fishing tackle box converted to EP storage. This can be a very inexpensive option if you are a DIY fan.

Mine was from Jessops, cost around £12. Aluminium with diced foam insides so you can cut to size. They keep them in their stores too which is easier for me.
