Lovely collection John

I am now the proud owner of a 13mm ethos (picked it up on a US trip) and have been enjoying the views the past few nights with the dob.....the best way I can describe it is like gazing through a large porthole from a spaceship....wondeful experience and I'm glad I spent the money.

a superb collection John. I think this is further confirmation (as if we need encouragement) that there's a place for lots of different types of eyepieces in a collection. I also have Naglers, an Ethos, Radians and TV Plossls as well as BGOs in my collection too. I use them all as well. For planetary I think you need more of a range than deep space fuzzies. I reckon for those I could get away with 2/3 max.

Out of interest, is there a large difference in the 6mm and 8mm Ethos?
