National space centre, Leicester

Hi,

I have a couple of days off work next week and I was thinking of taking a trip to the national space centre along with my 4year old girl who's taking a keen interest in space along with her dad so I just wanted to ask if it's worth the journey as I live in Elton in Cheshire so it's a good hour + drive, cheers for feed back

I went about 2 months ago with a 5 and 8 yr old. Both really enjoyed it.

Yes - is a really good place to visit.

Maybe worth looking at their special days though.

Last time we were there they had Star Wars & Daleks wondering around.

I had a season ticket one year, which was very handy as we live only 25 minutes away. Well worth a visit- lots to do and see and the children love it.

It's a great place for kids and plenty of stuff to keep adults busy too. Make sure you specify your entry fee as a donation so you get a 1yr season ticket instead of just one days entrance. It's the same price either way.
