Very nice, Franck, as usual. The fainter arms still have something to give, I think. Why not try some 15 minute subs to bring them out?

Also a small suggestion; for the very centre of the galaxy try making a separate stretch in Photoshop just for that part. Stop stretching when just the core looks right and layer than on to the image you have. Erase all but the middle and combine them. I nearly always do this with galaxies.

Yes but it is easier. I don't usually make real layer masks for galaxies, I just use a feathered erasor to wipe off the parts of the 'core image' that I don't want.
