Hi

Im sure this must be a common question but i cant find the answer

As a keen imager I want to maximise each session to the full so planning is key. I have search but to no avail for a list of targets by type (Galaxy, Nebula, Cluster etc) and by Seasons oh and ideally thos that are Ha rich etc ?

Regards

At the risk of stating the obvious (I rarely let that deter me!) the Milky Way, our home galaxy, is rich in star forming regions with clusters formed and forming, nebulae and general gas and dust. When it is high in the sky, go for them! At the moment, the MW is lying down and we dream of 4 metre focal lengths and mounts capable of steering them towards outlying fuzzies. I put my equipment mania on the back burner until the widefield targets come back up again... My accountant encourages this approach. What a pest she is.
