  6. well been round the block and back to the start again,no lunts available,doubts about the solar scout and the odd quark which cant go on my quad scope, so looking again at the quark but with a new scope,can anyone suggest a small scope that will take the quark or what do you use,thanks again

  8. well thought i had found my setup for solar imaging,consisting of my ts optics 100mm quad,quark chromosphere,1.25" uv/ir filter for front of quark and a asi 178 camera,but just been told that because my scope is a quad it probably isnt suited to the quark(heat) ,more confused so can anyone throw some light on it thanks as always

  12. same problem here loking at a daystar ds 60 lunt 40 or lunt 50 for imaging but not sure which button to press so pressing none at the minute ,watching this thread with interest
  13. Hi all looking at a solar setup but just wondered what you would recommend ,already have a C8 edge which i think is a no no,and i already have a ts optics quad 100mm,just wondered what you guys recommend/suggest for the most cost effective/image quality route would be thanks
  14. hi must say im getting obsessed with flats,i know nina tells you the average adu of a flat frame with its wizard but how do i check certain parts of the image itself if that makes sense thanks
  15. im using a tracing panel light for the top one and a dedicated geoptic light panel for the bottom using nina flat frame wizard on both ,its just that the bottom one looks more even to me after i have stretched them both?
  16. testing different ways of capturing flats with nina,which would you choose 1 top left then right stretched then second bottom left then to the right stretched thanks both within adu values
  17. hi all been using an illuminated tracing panel for my flats but not convinced just looking at the Geoptik Flat Field Generator panel anyone have any comments please
