Bst starguider are ment to be good down to f5 and are cheap at flo. But I can't really give my 2 cents I'm new to this but my cheap eyepieces are rubbish in my dob

Bortle 3 here when not cloudy aswell. Never been down to the south is it nice down there

Hi junglistRex I'm also in Ireland was going to order some eps from flo but the import tax was too much so I went to bresser.de no import tax and free delivery

I had the same problem but other way round when I was using a 2" eyepiece 28mm I could focus but when I switched to a 1.25" 9mm I couldn't focus. I had both adapters in at the same time.

Hi everyone. I was going to get a set of bst's but the import tax to Ireland is terrible so I was thinking about es82 free shipping and no tax. Is anyone else using these and are they any good in a f4.9 . Would appreciate any help thanks

Hi Gom welcome to SGL. As a newcomer myself this is a great site and everyone here are very helpful and willing to share there knowledge.

When I purchased my 12"dob I was nervous about getting it home it didn't fit across the back seats I had to put it in the car boot with seats lowered down I had a large box and used 4 spare duvet covers and padded the box out . I had to drive slowly all the way home roads in Ireland are narrow and full of pot holes.

Just done a star test and everything looked good. Nice clear skies for a couple of hours nothing better than to swing the beast around looking for dso's couldn't find any but a least it's a nice full moon with Jupiter and Saturn out to see . Thanks for all your help. Clear skies ✨

Hi all at SGL. Still new and learning. You've probably had this question a thousand times. I've been looking at images and videos of collinmation being out but they only show if it's really out. I think mine could be out but not buy much. The inner white circle seems to be going to the left slightly causing the dot not being central is this my secondary mirror needs adjusting
