  1. There is al alternative Fok to consider for TSA120? only the FTF3035B-A? Baader Steltrack for example? V power? etc
  2. Buyed usedfor 60 euro, shipping costs, rings ans vixen bar included 🙂 it makes a really good 03 feb 2022, Matera, 12:00 Omegon Acromatico 80/400, ASI178 @ f5 AsiStudio, AstroSurface Here with a 31,8 mm Intes Herschel Prism
  3. i have the TSA120 with Primaluce rings and a Vixen 240mm PLUS. Is its original symmetrical cradle or ring system better for the TSA, in terms of functionality, stability? aesthetically I like the cradle without a doubt, but the rings are functional and light. I attach the current photo. My idea is to order the original cot. at the top by attaching a clamp, I can prepare for a second telescope or guide etc. Now I have trouble grasping the TSA120 which, although light, is leaning forward and the rings are without spacers. therefore I am unable to insert my fingers between tube and plate. If I don't take the original cradle, the plan is to take a second 240mm plate and 20mm spacers. this would give me room to comfortably grab the telescope from the top flange. The price of all these first light accessories would equal and slightly exceed the cost of the original symmetrical cradle that I like best. What do you think?
  4. Hi. I have to choose a compact grab & go refractor that represents the best compromise between size, quality and cost. Purpose: - second telescope to view fields, Moon and Planets, for the holidays - main telescope for shooting and viewing the Sun in H alpha with Daystar Chromosphere. You know that my heart leads me to Japan, but at the same time reason leads me to the greater diameter of the triplet 90 mm. He would be a drande sweeper of star fields in tirretta and would offer me great visions of everything. but above all I would take advantage of the greater diameter and resolving power in the shooting of the Sun., To reopen and for something more compact, even the 80/480 triplet Ts has those back focus characteristics that interest me for my purposes. Now .... staying on these choices (only on these choices), have you ever compared an FC76 with these two telescopes (directly and not guesses)? while what do you think in general? Discounted the acclimatization speeches ... I am aware of it and I believe that they are still manageable formats from this point of view. On a planetary level, how can you expect between FC76 and 90? thank you
  5. I've already done my math. With the appropriate accessories it is possible to use my Maxbright 2 without a GPU
  6. ccan you measure the original fok of the FC76DCU please??? i find this image. You know for sure that the FS60CBU and the FC76dcu HAVE THE SAME FOCUSER? so i have in this image the measure of it
  7. Because no comparison is possible. I had a C8HD water heater for three months .... it was the most useless three months of my life.
  8. I also take this opportunity to ask you another question. You have both the FS60CB and the FC76DCU. The former is extremely smaller and lighter than the latter. The former will be extremely more enjoyable to use as a grab and go. What I ask you is: the performance of the 76 (especially on the moon, Sun and planets) is so much better than the 60 (obviously for the larger diameter but ...) that you prefer to take the FC76 most of the time?
  9. sTU... in another post you show the setup with The Baader Cool Ceramic 2", a Bino and the FS60CB with the FTF 2025 FOK So if work with the FS60CBU, why not with the fc76? 1) can you try to mount the 2025 on the FC76 and check the same setup on it? 2) In fact, if it reaches the fire with the Baader cool ceramic, which is one of the accessories that most of all sucks back focus, why shouldn't I reach the fire with only the turret mounted in a T2 32 prsim?
  10. this is the Baader with maxbright 2 on original fok of the DL nothing is impossible i just want to know the optical real ( not metal/photographic) back focus measures the rest are just calculations
  11. thanks but this are your opinions. i have not asked a lesson on Bino vs mono. i have asked measures. For me Bino view is essential in every field. And this is not a point of discussion If you like to obseve like Polifemo no problem... for sure it is not what i ve asked
  12. at least i need: 1) the Back focus value from the 2" aperture of the fok 2) the measure of the original focuser
  13. Someone is able to perform the calculation of back focus for the FC76 if i use the FTF2025BCR + A20-302??
  14. uhm... i think i will return back to some other choice
  15. i rewrite the post for more more clarity. I generally use the maxbright screwed directly to the Baader T2 32 prism and this with the 2 "nose. I have also the 2025. 1) i want to reach focus with Baader Cool Cermaic 2" both in mono and in Bino with the maxbright. I hope that at least the first option is ok 2) i want to reach focus with Maxbroight II for night visions and if possibile wit NO GPC So...can you tell me: 1) the measure of back focus of the telescope from the original focuser 2) from the tube (no original focuser)
  16. i have the baader cool ceramic to a maxbright 2 bino viwing with no goc id for me important
  17. But Back focus is sufficent? i have also a FTF2025 rready for the 76. I m thinking if it will go in focus with daystar Chromo, bino, etc
  18. Ok Monday i will Buy the FC76DCU. Now let's make a list of accessories I need (besides the stock ones).
  19. No... i don t like LEGO. As I am, if I bought an FS60CB, I would never start screwing and unscrewing all the time and I would still buy a complete FC76DCU
  20. 2) the differences in visual on moon and planets between the 60 and the 76.
  21. i want to understand if possible: 1) the differences in size of the Fc76DCu and FS60. If someone have, attach plaese a image of the two side by side. 2) the differences in visual on moon and planets between the 60 and the 76. i m evaluate also the Vixen SD81
