I prefer Mewlon 180c over every Scope for Lunar Imaging. I mewlon 250 would be the top -

I'll give it a try. I don't know if that could be an idea. I decided to create a single thread in this section. I am very productive and I observe and imaging in any moment i can. I would therefore like to avoid lengthening the section with many of my individual posts. Consider that I have started to imaging for about 1 year (never done before) and therefore a single post helps not only the forum to stay clean but you can see learning progress etc. If I find that posts are no longer followed in this way, I'll go back to traditional posting. This is my Mewlon 180c this evening, out of collimation (yes I don't know how to collimate !! i don t have the calm to do this), with a high Moon at Zenith and quite good seeing. 10.04.2022 Takahashi Mewlon 180c, ASI 178MM (f12, f24 for Clavius) only), AsiStudio, AstroSurface T1

10.04.2022, ore 18:00, Day light TSA120, TV Barlow 2x, Player One Astronomy Neptune C 2 Sharpcap, AstroSurface T1 Test of the Neptune C 2, Player One with TSA120. Here we are at f16, so around its ideal working focal ratio. I only notice noise, both when recording in Mono8 and RGB24. Even the Mono 8 the noise is higher than the 178MM The wider field than the 224 helps in poor seeing conditions. But It is rectangular. The footage was obtained in daylight at 18:00. It has a lot of potential. Lightweight body, integrated tilt. The drivers seem stable to me on Windows 8 64 bit

Hello. I had the FS102NSV, the FC100DL, I have the TSA120 and the Mewlon 180c.... I had in the past, before a vacuum of many years, also many other telescopes The TSA120 beats the various 100s by far. But i often prefer the Baby - Mu to the TSA120 because more comfortable. Also if you observe Jupiter at sunset, when the sky it's still a little bright to eliminate the glare of the planet, up to medium mag the Mewlon holds up to the TSa120. The TSA120 is compact and reigns in its range, but not compact as the Baby-Mu. TSA120 inexorably loses on 42 of which the Mewlon180c, if acclimatized, gives me the most beautiful image in the turret and with Takahashi Ortho 32 mm. Paradoxically, I really like more the Mewlon on deep sky. The TSA120 in contrast provides a wonderful view of the M42 in its beautiful field with two 19mm pan optics. then I start with the TSA120 and then I move on to the mewlon to see the Trapezius and the contortions of the gases of the nebulosity. I have never liked 100 mm, except for specific applications such as solar. After 35 years of activity for many of which I have not been able to buy important instruments, in recent times, with a bit of availability and a bit of luck, I am buying all those telescopes I wanted. I like to experiment with everything and then in the end keep what I like best and find it more comfortable to use. I have sold all 100mm and now I would like to sell the Mewlon 180c but I also believe the TSA120 to experiment more. In reality, I am preparing a fixed location, finally, and I would like to concentrate and invest in the Solar.

1) because of nonsense about Chinese production that "now equals that of Japan" they say a lot, without detracting from their products. 2) because therefore I like to personally check if what I buy is actually TOO USELESS ergo try what I gave up 3) Because, following a discussion between friends in which it was stated that the diameter is everything, I wanted to demonstrate how much this is not entirely true and that it DEPENDS. -
