Actually there are a few around Europe too :-) one with Alan in Bulgaria I think, and one made it to Cyprus!

It's a strange one, I never really appreciated it when I first had it, but since buying first a 12.5mm Hutech and then finally another BGO I use it all the time. It is great for white light solar, plus a whole load of Astro uses in a variety of scopes. In fact my little Ortho/Plossl/nag zoom/24mm panoptic case covers much of my observing these days, particularly when travelling

Only recently managed to pick up a replacement for that 12.5mm BGO I sold you Shane! Gets a lot of use these days :-)

Agreed, very nice. I do miss my 17 and 22mm T4's. Such nice compact eyepieces compared with the Ethos, and excellent performance still. Perhaps one day I'll find a way to get them back :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, after a sleepless night thanks to the OCD appreciation society (aka SGL!) ;-), I sorted the case this morning before work. Found some spare foam and even added my filters in there for good measure. Happy now, and Mike I think I got the Leica bang in the centre of its range ;-) I shall stop taking this thread over now and look forward to seeing everyone else's Fung Shui'd cases :-) Stu

Derek, my humble apologies for causing such distress ;-). Having looked back at the pictures I have gone to have a lie down in a darkened room! I also noticed that the 13mm is positioned lower than the other three, a traumatic situation for us eyepiece case OCD sufferers.I shall endeavor to rectify the situation and re-post the image :-) Stu

Just to update my case with the addition of the Leica. I know Shane was worried about my addiction, so he will be pleased to know I'm now down to 'just' two cases, one Widefield and one Ortho/Plossl etc I do have another for prisms/diagonals but we won't mention that here ;-) So, this one has my big boy 2" ethos/Nagler plus the Leica and VIP Barlow This one (same as a few posts ago, just for the record), serves as my travel case, for solar and for higher power/double splitting. I don't think I need anything else, but in a few years time I may look to add back some Delos or XW in a couple of spots. Stu

That's very true John. One other benefit of lightweight eyepieces is that when you change them, so long as you have a little tension on the clutches the scope tends not to move. I find myself frequently using my case of Orthos/Plossls plus a couple of extras I've got, in a lovely small case..... 24mm Panoptic 18, 12.5, 9, 7, 6 & 5mm BGO/Hutech 25, 20, 15 & 11mm TV Plossl 3 to 6 Nag zoom Most bases covered in a case that's easy to take away and with eyepieces which keep the balance on a small Giro mount.
