  1. .... and more than i will ever use......:) Lottery - def my own planetarium with few tickets for everyone ...:)
  2. I think that will happen.... but i will hang on there few more days - trying to evaluate everything... as you know it is a lot and in the end of day i didn't win this, and i do travel a lot - lakes, Peaks, Cornwall and Durham side... - i might have to get a trailer I was fine with CEM60... Positives - too many for all mounts, "Cons" (with everyone's help) - remaining: ....and please don't hate me for this: 1. MESU - 100kg load is not for AP- who tested? were you there? i ve heard several times that is more - 65kg - but i wasn't there....( i will travel and do few tests after the Covid-19), , also chopping off half the mount and attaching wedge to the leg, isn't really slimming, is it! - 200e 2. Gemini - no controller - open source - can be added - OneStep controller ? not sure- someone 've said that with sky model - will guide better than anything else - but i wasn't there... or any other controller - SITech 1/2? 30kg AP SWL - i wasn't there.... 3. JTW - nobody knows anything - yet - did they abandon the Trident idea? and working now on something else? 4. ASA - no more smaller models only ASA100 and up - for me too big - and still too expensive for me
  3. Don't get me wrong in here, I respect everyone in here as all of you have a vast knowledge about AP and happily willing to share with all , but,... Are we not getting too detail in here? Sorry, what i am trying to say is: where do we stop? is there a limit? theoretically there is a line where guiding will make no difference to your pictures? Finding working platform it is very hard - i think that a friction drive it is possible to be build without NASA scientific research what that has been proofed, Can worm drive can be developed more without encoders?, to see a difference? Astro P, SB ?
  4. Ufff- i have thought its 19kg+the wedge+shaft... = i see....
  5. Defo- and only from commercial point of view it is not possible to adjust production line and get to the mentioned precision, within price buget - i am sure they can, but it would be very marginal market. I wouldn't mind to see " a special edition" mount: CEM 120 SLR - let say, same how AMG is working with Merc...
  6. Hmmmm, Still heavy, can you split gm1000- 18kg? i don't recolet you can, JTW - 19kg? - don't know the latest version ...but if yes, it looks like it will be several bolts holding it together - so, will be there a loss in stiffness ?under heavy weight? Yes - but not noticable, i guess...so less doses of IBUPROFEN
  7. hey! Just Found another bit to the puzzle : Gemini guiding: So three on the list: for me: - Mesu 200e - JWT Trident -Gemini E. Fric Ive took the Avalon Linar off the list as it has fallen in another class...
  8. Mihaighita, Out of curiosity - isn't the AP SWL for GM1000 25kg? I've seen someone on youtube with RASA 36 on it being very happy....? ALso i've found new Gemini guiding: mount is for sale right now - but only 30kg for AP - so no no for you JTW - i thought that it will be all in one color - who knows..:( Greg
  9. I have some more news from USA dealers regarding - JTW: to be shipped/ sold as of June - this year!! -26bit encoders. E. Fric - ready to order now - 6-8 weeks from now - 30kg for AP. without - ENCODERS - the idea is there, wait and see.
  10. Well, If your Polar alignment is perfect and the setup has no flex, think that the idea to run a session without encoders and guiding on 1000mm, achieving 0.5PE , is something that many AP wants, without paying a lot of hard saved cash.
  11. I am in the same position - i don't think i will go for cem120 or eq8 as there are very strange problems all around the globe - but you could chance it"1!!??..... i amlooking into - friction drive 30kg....Mesu or Gemini E.fric - 6-8weeks waiting time...no maintenance...but GTD is brand new mount.... MESU looks ugly solid PE- but there is something that keeps me from ordering one...i am not so sure - yet.... Greg

  14. So..... eBay is doing nothing about this at the moment .... No Paypal - fake eBay address : and it is still going..... His email didnt respond to my last one....
  15. def...!!!!! big dog.....? or small - it must be the most painful experience....!!! Have you seen the add? .....so many bids - i hope that these are from members on forum who knows the fake add - so nobody will get hurt....

The item is in perfect condition, this is a stock liquidation, I have closed my business (pawnshop) and I recently moved to Italy. We will complete this sale using the Purchase Protection program from eBay, which will protect us in this transaction. There is also a 30 day return policy. If you are ready to buy this item please provide me with your full shipping address & your full name, then you will be contacted by eBay with the eBay Invoice for your purchase. Waiting you reply Thanks!
  22. you see i am thinking to go with a scope instead of OAG on the 80mm, but i will keep it for the c11... most of the times if the mount (Mzero cant keep up 8-10min) for me is too (i.e.)hectic /cloudy.. so the mounts mentioned should be good - without encoders - i don't mind to loos night or two on a larger scale....:) What do you think?
