Altair Astro: Ships with about 7/14 days lead time. But nobody else...

....so.... last night i've put the focuser - through the HT V4 - in the cont mode, after starting the sequence : focus on start : it started to focusing out.... few minutes later - it overheated. maxted out and focused in . I've restarted the HT V4 (power, exit) and it started saved settings, step mode - all back to normal.

I am not a advertisement guru..but it is weird that Ioptron doesn't want to announce it now, when the info is all around the news...

Avalon is gone now and 3 more weeks to the 1st delivery attempt of the E.Fric. :). And a last thing: controller - working on StepOne and on Pulsar 2 .. Sitech won't work (not at the moment), StarGo - i didn't get very exited using it on the Avalon... it was working fine - once you get going (it might take a hr or two),.. Gemini software (from G11) - won't work,...

Hi All, Does anybody willing to share their experience with Pulsar 2 mounted on Gemini Mounts? I have this deal around the corner and i was thinking to use it on new mount Gemini E.Fric as the mount is "open source", theoretically i could use any controller...Currently i am studying OneStep (recommended by Gemini).... and i have only 350mm counterweight bar length , How about i will ask for : 303, 150mm diameter instead 120, then: 32m centre hole and 10mm side locking hole. - weight of that plate is: 21kg.. - ufff - it will be massive task to lift it, probably too much. 120mm diameter x 150 lengt = 13kg weight. We see whats the cost.

That might change the prices as well. Let me ask "the" man again.
