  1. You do need Win10 pro but on both PC's. The NUC it probably will be so we are thinking it is the remote PC that is the home edition. Steve
  2. If you are one that likes to zoom in then yes drizzling would probably help the star shapes, however, looking at the whole image then I doubt you would actually see much improvement unless you intend to print it at a much larger scale. How did you process this, if you have PI then that looks like an image that BlurXT (sorry I know this has been hyped to death the last few weeks) would add some further enhancement to. Steve
  3. Have you clicked on the upgrade link at the botom to upgrade to Windows 10 pro ? I am sure I did this and it was free. Steve
  4. I am pretty new to this game but I would think this hobby really opened up to most hobbyists with the introduction of digital photography. Personally, I found some fair challenges taking imaging when I first started, around 2018, and even though going back to my early 20's (some 40 years ago) having done some colour photography and developing my own images I think the challenge of imaging with non digital equipment would have been too much of a challenge for myself and would not have done so. I am guessing it wasnt until towards the 80's digital cameras were widely used in AP and so I take my hat off even to those hobbyists that with some great optical equipment still had so struggle with real photographic film. Steve
  5. Just had another thought you could get a can of WD40 with the long straw like spout in the nozzle and carefully give it a quick squirt the fluid may go behind the broken bit and it might fly out ????? Maybe ? Even better is if you have a compresser and use an air line (carefully) that can blow it out if you are lucky. Steve
  6. Depending on the type of screw you can get them out otherways (unless a grub screw maybe) thats why I asked for a picture of it. Steve
  7. Can you put up a picture of the screw with thebroken bit in, the other possibility is if there is another way to remove the screw and then you may be aboe to tap the screw head to know the bit out or just replace the screw. Steve
  8. you stand a good chance if you put a strong magnet on the allen key that broke then try to match it up with the broken piece and try pulling directly out. Not definite as obviously if the screw is ferrous that will also become magnetic. Its a small allen key that wont help but often if you can place the mount so the screw head is facing down then poke at it with something very sharp and try to push the broken bit in the opposite direction to when you were tightening the screw it may just fall out. If you understand all that. Steve
  9. It is a Hubble image, if I could move to Cornwall (330 miles south of me) and get images like that I would be packing now whether wife and kids were coming or not 🙂 steve
  10. I have not done that much visual so not the best person to suggest a better eyepiece but the ones suppled will not be the best however I would make sure the collimation is correct first as that could be more of a problem than the eyepieces, reflectors are not always well collimated straight out of the box. Steve
  11. One thing you could try is changing the font, unfortunately there is no way to change font size (AFAIK) but I just changed mine to courier new bold and all the lines are now visible on my laptop screen. Steve
  12. True, but if you are like me you get fixated on small issues like this because they are so annoying and you just want to find out WHY ? 🤣 Steve
  13. I agree and actually find Discord very un-user friendly anyway, but maybe I am just too old to get how it is structured 🙂 Steve
  14. A good test is to make sure your camera data is being displayed then disconnect your camera and at same time watch your screen very carefully. On my small screen laptop where the bottom two rows are also not visible (like yours we suspect) when I disconnect camera the Settings disappear first and for a second or two you can see the hidden two lines appear. Steve
  15. Are you running NINA from your laptop with your equipment plugged into the laptops USB ports (maybe via a hub) or running NINA on a remote computer on the mount and using remote desktop or similar to remotely view the mounts computer ? Steve
  16. What resolution is the laptop using on the monitor ? You may need to go into display to use the monitors full resolution Steve
  17. I too think it is just down to the size of your screen. If I use another laptop with smaller screen it is also hidden As a quick test do you have a monitor you can plug in and see if it appears on that ? Or maybe can you adjust your screen resolution ? Steve
  18. Very odd the ability to display the humidity of QHY camera was introduced way back in NINA according to their changelogs so you should not even have needed the update. Can you do a screenshot in equipment - Camera just to see if it offers any clues ? Steve
  19. I noticed it was quite an old thread but the OP was posted just before I joined and had not seen it so glad it got resurrected, a shame the originator hasn't been on here for so long. Steve
