@groberts Photo was purchased from microsoft store, had to load the store app and sign in, from my list of software (not much) found Affinity Photo and 'store' ran the update (no key number with store). Was then able to launch photo from store window and nice to see version 1.9.0.932, I expect it would have happened automatically quite soon, has in the past. Once opened Affinity gave me the option of registering the software.
Designer I have from Serif Affinity, downloaded and installed/updated to V1.9 was then asked for key before I could use. I did download Photo from Affinity site but had to go via microsoft store.
So a difference depending on supplier. So from the store app three dots top right gives Downloads and Updates.

Just updated to 1.9 (and popped out for my jab).
I have Photo via Microsoft Store so some playing around, Designer purchased from Serif so just add key after download - both now 1.9 - good morning so far.

Towards the end of Mark Shelley's thread are descriptions of using with the latest filmware/edge software, some one post posters, nice of them and thank you.
And I have added a post regarding Ascom connection here
I find the battery is mostly flat and far to many buttons and information on the screen - but that's just me, I now have a dummy battery that I run off a 5V usb supply, not using the camera for astro imaging but would expect it to work as well as any other dslr.
Well worth looking into John

If you are looking at Affinity, Mac & Windows available Dave Eagle ran over it HERE

Can you zoom in in live view as suggested above, perhaps a simple bahtinov mask........

What about this one? The filter thread of the Samyang is 77mm, so I think that mask would be a perfect fit for the lens and its dew shield.
I find translucid Bahtinov masks much better than opaque ones, like those that are 3D printed. The lines are more visible and it is therefore easier to focus, in my limited experience at least. Especially if you don't have super bright stars available. Plus, the adjustable size makes it versatile, if you own other scopes with a 75-110 diameter (which is quite standard range).
Related product Takahashi FC-76DS f/7.5 Doublet Fluorite APO Refractor, just add that on........... sorry but the idea made me smile.
