  6. Can never get it right using phone hand held so thought I would try this.
  7. This arrived today. Just about to give it a try with my ST 102 and a rather cloudy Moon.
  8. My post man has been rather busy this week. Inspired by Jeremy S I decided I needed a light weight set up to view Saturn and Mars. They are just too low from my back garden, but a 15 minutes walk takes me to the local park and a observing site with lovely clear horizons to the East and South. I purchased a Neewer carbon fibre 65 tripod and a TS travel mount to go with it. Can’t afford Jeremy ‘s Tak 65 but will use a wee SW Mak instead. I am also going bird watching to Mallorca in September and I hope to take this set up with me. I also got a Omegon 90 degree diagonal for this purpose.Set it up this afternoon and it seems very stable and usable. Hope to get a first light tonight.
  9. An interesting book and a nice power mate. Never really got on with Barlows so I thought I would try this out.
  10. Just received a baby Mak to use when travelling. Thanks to Niall.

  12. Hi Alan. I hope to use them with my Lunt 50 and my Skywatcher 120 ED for lunar.
  13. Thanks. Now all I have to do is what other eps to pair.
  14. Today I received a set of binoviewers. Now I only need some clear sky to see if I can get them to work. Be prepared for questions folks.
  15. This is why I don’t buy on EBay. Had the same experience a couple of times Dave.
  16. Just delivered. Thanks to Dave. Now I just need a clear sky to try it out.
  17. There is a very nice demonstration on how to set this system up on YouTube
  18. I do not think there is a niche for this in amateur astronomy Chris. Looks more like a rich mans toy to me, but it will be very interesting to see if there is a market for it. I have my doubts.
  19. Latest acquisition. Delivered this morning. Looks like a very good read.
  20. The nice postie brought me this lovely eyepiece today. Bigger than I expected so put televue plossl for comparison. Many thanks to Dave (F15 rules ) for a quick sale.
