Picked up a chest infection on the flight back from Taiwan...scraped my car against the neighbours...3 hours down the local nick to sort it out...4 weeks and I am out of here!

Sad day, Charly the cat goes off to his new home today. He found us a year ago and we are moving to Shanghai in 2 weeks.

Was a lovey crisp and clesr day yesterday u around Kings Lynn, so I thought I would do a bit of solar observing when I gor back to Ely...it was not to be, Ely was fogged in and still -2C

Was going to be in Israel next week for work. Pulled the plug on it as the situation there is not improving at all.

Went out into the fens ast evening t try and get a moonrise shot....was clear in the right drection until I got the kit set up....how do clouds know when to rll in
