  1. Ah yes, if I brought out all the old telescopes there would be quite a lot, though mostly smaller than yours. I haven't sold old telescopes due to the transport problem. The main "bottleneck" in multiple imaging is filters - I have only one set of Astrodon 3nm NB filters (Ha, OIII, SII). I certainly can't afford any more though I think there are now some competing ones that don't cost an arm and a leg. This hobby could make me even more broke than I am already!
  2. Seems to be the same problem as the other night when I had a long run - some limitation on the mount movement. When parking the mount does not go back to the proper position - RA is a couple of hours out.
  3. I might do the same - something seems to have gone wrong with the mount.
  4. I can't see much difference between 2m and 3m exposures on SII.
  5. Yes, that's Sadr. At least there's some there. Perhaps I should try 3m subs - 4m produced badly saturated stars which would be difficult to process. Looks like there may be one or two hours more clear sky. Whether I shall stay up that long remains to be seen...
  6. First 120s SII sub after autofocus. Stretched in GIMP.
  7. Sharper image - tighter stars. Now trying a run of 120s SII subs.
  8. Autofocus worked with SII on 2nd attempt, 14 iterations, HFR 1.5px. Focus 762.
  9. Capturing 50 OIII then I may have another go at SII wondering if it would be better with a shorter exposure to reduce the number of saturated stars. I'll check focus too. Focus should work just as well with any NB filter as they are all 3nm - at least for white stars and SII should be better for red stars than OIII.
  10. Tried autofocus on OIII and it seemed to work better. Got a result of HFR = 1.6 px. Focus = 753 (moved from 720).
  11. Not quite sure about the focus. Possibly could be better.
  12. Captures 50 60s Ha subs and now capturing 10 240s SII. Here's one slightly stretched in the GIMP.
  13. Yes, there is a limit setting. There are other settings too - I don't know if I've got these right. Mainly I left settings st default.
  14. Yes. Actually KStars/Ekos with Astroberry Focuser INDI driver.
  15. Instead of the full resolution of 4650x3560 pixels, the ROI is 2700x1700 pixels.
