  1. The continuous power mode is used in the likelihood that you have focus slippage issues and helps "lock" the motor in position to prevent slippage. With your Lakeside having a high torque gearbox & a ML focuser you don't need to have the focus motor energised constantly.

Having built three autofocusing units I came across this issue and upgrading to higher quality focusers eliminated the need to have the auto focuser permanently energised.

  2. Hi Nigella, Sorry to hear of your demise. As a Pulsar owner I can understand your worries. Which Pulsar model have you got? As could point to method of repair/replace. I have the older mk one version and you cannot remove the dome without dismantling the rollers. The base and dome are complete structures and not sectional.

  3. Thanks for the prompt reply, MartinI really appreciate the help and really don't want to go down the custom / custom array route. Regards posting your great "add on" I tried posting it yesterday, but for some reason it's not accepting my login details and I'm waiting for a reply from the group.

    Hello Steve,

Are you using the standard licence of Voyager?. If so then Viking can only access one Velleman board at a time - Just a thought.

    Hi Martin,

That's a shame. Hopefully I could get round this by scripting the velleman board switching. Do you what programming scripts the DragScript will accept?
