Wow, you guys in UK are sure getting an amazing show with the aurora🧐🤯 I'm green with envy!
-
Sky is defo starting to brighten on the all sky so might be time for me to start thinking of packing away
-
What an interesting night. One.of.the problems I'm seeing is that there is so much energy in the high atmosphere that it appears to have an overall background glow So only the brighter columns are visible against the background. What a night , and another monster flare has just been emitted from the Sun too ! Cheers
-
My legs are getting a bit cool - can't see me getting a job at Royal Mail
-
-
Is it ramping up again? Just got back inside because it died down for a while
-
Might have caught a bright meteor at the top of the blue streamrs
- Today
-
-
Back in business, huge eye visible streaks in the sky again.
-
I was thinking the same, , , until just now when I am seeing pinks increasing again in the S and SW (I dont have a view from home of the N )
-
Streamers w to N
-
Alas, east is a no go for me due to "essential street lighting".
-
Can see a blue dome to the NE on the all sky cam
-
Really don't know, looks like clouds ended play now.
-
wonder if the high cloud has something to do with the purple or is it overload
-
Ratlet started following Aurorae likely tonight!!
-
-
I'm tempted to continue but imaging clouds now...
-
Not yet, but I still have a huge area of various colours to the north east. The huge pillar I mentioned earlier spanned from zenith to beyond the pole, and was shadowed with a red outer streak too. I wonder if the 1000 is catching up, or if we’re in for a bigger show to come!
-
Aurora app is now saying disturbance is over 1050nT!
-
Over 1000nT now higher than the one at 11 but don't really see anything now
-
Same here
-
The whole sky looks purple on screen, can't tell if it's a lens abberation at times
-
Back upto 972nT on the aurorawatch UK app. Apparantly the KP scale has been maxed out (Level 9)
-
We’re in business again, HUGE pink streak to the north!
